Alors maintenant que j'ai accès à la beta, quand je me connecte j'ai un message en... non c'est même pas un language. ref c'est une erreur de GameGuard (114). ça vient de mon pare feu ?

Oui , je parie que tu as le même Firewall qu'Edd, si c'est le cas,vérifies les différentes barrières.

Désactives une par une ou désactives tout et actives une par une ^^

( sur ce je vais quand même voir les sujets à cette erreur au cas ou )

In order for us to help out more easily, we’d like to include a tag when creating a thread (for example: [Tech] or [Game]), this should make things clearer when the forum gets more populated with posts.

This list will be updated on a regular basis, when new issues are encountered or if we have frequently asked questions. The updates will be listed above the list so you may know if something has been recently added.

Technical Issues

Gameguard

Error 360:

Error 360 is a message stating that the gameguard modules have failed to be updated due to network issue. It can be firewall, latency or something else (administration rights, system policy, etc) related to the connection status to GG server.

In order to resolve this issue, several steps should be tried:

- Try deleting your Gameguard folder and run the game again, it’ll attempt to download the files again which could solve the problem. The Aion folder is located by default in the following folder: C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Aion (US)\bin32\GameGuard
- If the above step did not work, you’ll need to make sure that your security softwares are either properly configured or disabled when launching the game. If the game launches when these security softwares are disabled, then you’ll need to set them up adding exceptions for the following files: Aion.exe, Gameguard.des, Gamemon.des.
- If you are using a router, you should try connecting to Internet using your cable/dsl modem. If this works, then you will need to open some ports on the router to allow Gameguard to connect to Internet. The following ports should be opened: TCP 2106 and TCP 777. Some routers can also have a list of exceptions for programs; if applicable you should make sure it is properly set-up (more information can be found on the manufacturer’s manual).

Error 114:

Error 114 is a message stating that the gameguard modules have failed to be initialized. It is sometime caused by a previous instance of gameguard that did not close properly; in that case, a simple system reboot should fix the problem.

Initialization errors can also happen when you have an incomplete Gameguard folder (this would either bring error 360 or 114). This error can also be caused by conflicts with other programs running (antivirus, graphic card drivers, Direct X, etc) that the game needs to communicate with in order to launch.

You’ll need to make sure your graphic drivers (or sound/motherboard) are updated, antivirus set-up or disabled and that your Direct X version is up to date. Once these things have been verified and modified if need be, you’ll have to restart the system to finalize the changes.

Vista only: Please note that if you are using Windows Vista, you may need to run the Aion shortcut (or PlayNC) as an administrator to avoid any Gameguard errors.

Direct X

You will need to have the latest version of Direct X for the game to run. The game is using a version of Direct X that was distributed around Q4 2008 and even if you can check having DX 9.0c or 10, you will need to make the proper updates in order to play.

The self updating client for Direct X can be found here.

In some cases, the game will not launch because of a sound card problem. The game should tell you which steps to follow in order to properly set-up Direct X. If not, please follow the below steps:

- Click on Start then Run
- Type in “Dxdiag” and press Enter
- Click on the Sound Tab and use the slider to move it to “Standard Acceleration”
- Click on Exit and launch the game again

Graphics

You will need to have the latest drivers to play Aion. You should be able to find the latest packages on the manufacturers’ websites: Nvidia / ATI

click processes, and perform an end process on u_skid.exe and GameMon.des. If ending these
processes does not resolve the error, please reboot your PC.

En gros , Aion est toujours en execution donc fermes le avant d'en lancer

I just got disconnected suddenly and when I tried to reconnect I recieved a GG Error 170
and could not get past the launcher. After spending a few minutes looking around I found a
solution. I thought I would post them here for convenience in case anyone has a similar

Error 112 - Please be sure your PC is free of viruses, and that sufficient memory is
available. You may wish to make sure your virus scanning program is up-to-date and
functioning properly, and that you do not have too many other open programs.

Error 114 - A very commen GameGuard error. Unfortunately a specific solution to this error
is unavailable. In general, it is indicating that some software on your PC is preventing
NProtect from loading. Please verify that you have administrative access to the PC you are
using, and that you have shut down all nonessential software. Also, you may wish to end any
unnecessary system services or processes if you feel comfortable doing so. You may also
wish to try temporarily disabling any virus scanning, firewall, or security software on
your PC.

Error 115
Game has been executed multiple times, or GameGuard is already running. Close the game and
restart.

Error 120 - Your installation of NProtect is either incomplete or damaged. Please delete
the GameGuard folder and repatch.

Error 124 - Same solution as Error 120

Error 141 - Same solution as Error 120

Error 142 - Same solution as Error 120

Error 150 - Same solution as Error 120

Error 153 - Same solution as Error 120

Error 155 - This error should not occur under Windows XP. If it occurs, your PC may
have a severe virus or be experiencing Operating System / Hard Disk corruption. Please
visit Microsoft for assistance in restoring this file for your particular OS version. If
you are unable to restore it, we recommend contacting a qualified PC technician to examine
your PC.

Error 170 - Due to a problem with the GameGuard INI, the program was unable to launch. We
recommend deleting the GameGuard folder and re-running the game again in order to
redownload the NProtect files.

Error 230
The other fix is to just uninstall MS completely and reinstall it.

Error 340 - This is indicating that the NProtect patches failed to download, either due to
an overly restrictive firewall or network issues leading to failed downloads. Please check
your firewall or anti-virus’ settings and allow GameGuard to patch its files.

Error 350 – GameGuard has been cancelled by the computer’s user. Please restart the patch process.

Error 360 - The NProtect patch process failed due to corrupted files, or an overly
restrictive firewall. Please be sure to allow NProtect access through your firewall. If the
problem persists, delete the GameGuard directory.

Error 361 - Gameguard did not install well. Maybe you cancelled it or something. Either
Re-download gameguard or Go to :
Internet>Settings>Network>Check security program on top is working or not.
Also check if you need to get authorized to use the internet.

Error 380 - This is indicating that either there is a problem with your internet
connection, security software on your PC. You may wish to wait a while and try again, and
verify your firewall settings, as well.

Error ___ - (No numbers) This is an indication that your computer is “lagging”.

Au pire , attends la release il parait qu'ils vont le modifier/supprimer , sinon fais des tests , il reste l'open bêta a venir...

c'est normal qu'il y ait marqué "north america" sous l'icone au fait ? j'ai merdé un truc à l'installation ?

Bon c'est cool, j'arrive enfin à me connecter mais ça ne veut pas de moi, ça me dit que mon compte n'a pas accès à Aion ! Pourtant j'ai tout fait comme il faut et acheté la version collector pour avoir accès à la beta. Y'a une manip spéciale à faire ?

Tout d'abord 2 chose :

- Ça pourrait être normal vu que c'est fini la bêta , plus qu'a attendre l'open bêta.

- Vérifies dans les paramètres que c'est bien calé sur Européen ( le "Aion North American " c'est normal ^^ )

Hum Tout çà me semble bien simple pourtant. Le développeur a mis la ligne de commande :
If Ancien_De_Coh then Faire_Tourner_Bourrique

Il n'y a qu'une seule parade : faire sauter la ligne de code, s'occuper du développeur, ou REVENIR sur COH Razz
